Hi. I’m Katherine. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling, an amazing Colombian husband, and a daughter named Irene. I also happen to love long walks, good food, and watching stupid tv shows with my husband.

When I found out I was going to be a mom, I had so many ideas of the glorious experience it would be. Instead, I found myself feeling like I was drowning in an endless quicksand of anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. Now I was a new mom with the not so glamorous labels of postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. Oh yeah, and I was also responsible for taking care of my precious daughter while feverishly trying to keep myself afloat.

I knew I needed help, but all that was offered to me was medication and ineffective counseling for postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. I even explored the”alternative” healing options. I only found extensive lists of things that might be wrong with me and expensive treatments that I might “need.” Nothing seemed to work.

Thanks to this experience, I have healed in ways that I never imagined. It’s not because of a drug, a good therapist, hard work, or even expensive acupuncture. It is because I found a new and true way to see myself and my experience in life. I’m so excited about it, and I want to share it with you.

You are and have everything that you need to be a good parent. You just need someone to point you in the right direction so that you can see it. That’s why I am here.
